Kotuku Lodge - Gonfishn' Holiday Home & Kiwi Cottage

The Gonfishn' house is a sunny and spacious 3 bedroom home with large kitchen/lounge, patio and yard located next to the beach. Comfortably sleeps 6 in 2 double rooms and 1 twin. Sleepout (up to 5 extra people) can be hired at additional cost. All linen provided. One night rentals available. Discounts for stays of more than 3 nights. Kiwi Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom bach suitable for 2-3 adults or a family of up to 5 with 1 double bedroom and 2nd bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 single/single bunk bed. There is a small lounge and kitchen area with a large open fireplace (wood is supplied, but feel free to supplement with driftwood). Located across the road from one of the best walks on the coast - Okarito Wetland Walkway and 3 Mile Lagoon track. Can be hired as self-clean bach with your own linens for $85/night for 2 people ($10/extra) or $100 all inclusive. One night stays are available with an extra $15 charge.

The Okarito Schoolhouse

You'll have a lovely stay in this unique hostel consisting of two main rooms and 12 bunk beds.  There is a full kitchen on site. Showers are across the road at the campsite (cost $1).

The Campsite

Wild and beautiful with toilets, showers, and a shelter with a fridge and sink, a few barbecue sites and picnic tables.

The Campsite is owned by DOC and run by the Okarito Community Association

Price: $10.00/night per adult (children free).  No reservations necessary, just come in and find a spot.  Bring $1 coins for the showers.  NZMCA members rates $7.50/person.
