The Campsite is owned by DOC and run by the Okarito Community Association
Price: $10.00/night per adult (children free). No reservations necessary, just come in and find a spot. Bring $1 coins for the showers.
You'll have a lovely stay in this unique hostel consisting of two main rooms and 12 bunk beds. There is a full kitchen on site and guests have free use of sleepsheets and duvets. Showers are across the road at the campsite and cost $1.
Closed for the winter. Open again September 2008.
