Okarito Campsite

Wild and beautiful with walks along the beach and in the surrounding forest. It is equiped with toilets, hot showers and a shelter with a fridge and sink, a few cooking sites and picnic tables.Coin-operated electric bbq. The Campsite is run by the Okarito Community Association on public land with a concession from DOC. Price: $15 night per adult, children free.  Cash on arrival, no reservations necessary, just come in and find a site.  Bring $2 coins for the showers. http://okaritocampground.co.nz

You'll have a lovely stay in this unique hostel consisting of two main rooms and 12 bunk beds.  There is a full kitchen on site. Showers are across the road at the campsite (cost $1).
